Hope for the Hard Places
Our Mission
Hope 40:31 is a Christ-centered nonprofit created to bring hope, healing, whole-person wellness, practical help, and compassionate support into the hard and messy places of life.

We believe no one should have to walk through mental health struggles, parenting challenges, grief, illness, financial hardship, or overwhelming seasons alone. We also believe that caring for ourselves - mind, body, and spirit - can help give us the strength and resilience we need to navigate life's challenges.

Our mission is to meet people where they are with compassion, faith, practical resources, wellness, tools, community, and tangible support, while pointing them toward the hope of Jesus and reminding them that even in the hardest moments, hope is still here.

What We Hope to Accomplish
At Hope 40:31, we seek to:

Support Mental & Emotional Health

Support individuals and families facing mental health challenges by connecting them with trusted resources, reducing stigma, offering encouragement, and helping provide financial assistance for therapy and care when possible.

Create Mental Health-Friendly Churches

Equip churches and faith communities to become places where people can speak honestly about mental health and life's struggles without fear or shame - and receive both spiritual support and compassionate understanding.

Encourage Parents, Caregivers, & Families

Come alongside parents, caregivers, & families navigating mental health challenges, difficult family seasons, and the everyday realities of loving someone who is hurting. We want to remind caregivers that their well-being matters, too.

Promote Whole-Person Wellness

Encourage people to care for their mind, body, and spirit through practical wellness tools and faith-centered resources. Through workbooks, guided journals, challenges, educational content, and other resources, we hope to help people create healthy rhythms, build resilience, grow in their faith, and take meaningful steps toward becoming healthier and stronger - one small step at a time.

Provide Practical Resources

Create accessible resources for people navigating anxiety, depression, emotional pain, stress, grief, family struggles, parenting challenges, burnout, wellness, and other hard places in life.
Our goal is to provide tools that don't just inspire people for a moment but help them take practical next steps toward healing, growth, and hope.

Help Meet Real Needs

Come alongside individuals and families experiencing crisis, illness, loss, financial hardship, or difficult seasons through fundraisers, community support, and acts of generosity that help meet tangible needs.

Invest in People Who Feel Called to Serve

Provide scholarships and financial support, when possible, for mission trips and opportunities that allow people to serve others and share the love and hope of Jesus in their communities and around the world.

Our Approach to Wellness

At Hope 40:31, we believe wellness is about more than physical health.

It's about caring for the whole person.

Mind. Body. Spirit.

We want to help people develop realistic, sustainable habits that support their mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being - especially during seasons when life feels overwhelming.

Our wellness resources are designed to offer grace, not perfection.

They may include guided workbooks, journals, devotionals, habit trackers, wellness challenges, reflections, exercises, movement, and self-care resources, and practical tools that encourage people to slow down, reconnect with themselves, strengthen their relationship with God, and take the next healthy step.

Because sometimes finding your strength again doesn't happen all at once.

Sometimes it starts with one prayer.
One walk.
One boundary.
One health choice.
One honest conversation.
One small step forward.

And we believe those small steps matter.
Our Heart

We are not here to pretend life is easy.
We don't believe faith means every struggle disappears or that following Jesus means we will never experience pain, fear, grief, or uncertainty.

We believe Jesus meets us there.

In the messy.
In the painful.
In the uncertain.
In the exhausted.
In the healing.
And in the unfinished.

Hope 40:31 exists to help people feel seen, loved, supported, and reminded that they do not have to carry the hard things alone.

We want to create a community where it's okay to say:

"I'm struggling."

And where the response is:

"You don't have to walk through this alone. We're here. And there is still hope."

The Promise Behind Our Name

Hope 40:31 is inspired by the promise found in Isaiah 40:31:

"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength."

These words remind us that when our own strength runs out, God is still there.

When we are weary, there is hope.

When the journey is hard, there is strength.

When life doesn't look the way we thought it would, there is still a God who walks with us through every season.

Hope for the weary.

Help for the hurting.

Wellness for the journey.

Community for the hard places.

Jesus in the middle of it all.
